A school health camp under way at Arya Kanya Vidyalaya. The camp was organised by the Rotary Club Shillong Heritage under its Maternal and Child Health Care Program in collaboration with Supercare Hospital and Mission Netralaya. A total of 137 children were screened and free supplements were distributed. The Rotary Club Shillong Heritage has also adopted this school as their Happy School under Rotary India Literacy Mission. The club had earlier built toilets, hand washing area and a drinking water station in the school. The club also distributed play materials like cricket bat, football, carom board, chess, badminton etc.
