Di Resta ‘unlikely’ to stay at Force India

London: Paul di Resta has admitted that his future with the Force India Formula One team looks bleak. Di Resta, who has completed three seasons with Force India, said staying in F1 with the Silverstone squad was unlikely.

“(Force India) are speaking to me every two or three days,” said Di Resta. “They may be interested. They may not. I believe they are in talks with Sergio Perez. It’s looking likely that I will not be driving,” he was was quoted as saying by a newspaper on Wednesday.

Force India are yet to announce Nico Hulkenberg’s team mate for the 2014 season. Di Resta partnered Adrian Sutil in 2013.

The 27-year-old said Sauber could be a possibility and he was open to a DTM (German touring cars) return. (IANS)
