National Vascular Day Run to be held on August 3

Shillong, July 31: The National Vascular Day in India is celebrated every year on the 6th of August and events are organised to create awareness on the aim of saving limbs and making India “Amputation Free”.
Vascular Surgeons are the ones that stand between a patient and amputation. Shillong, recently has its own Vascular Surgeon serving the state and the entire North Eastern Region.
As a small part of this great endeavour to make the people of the state and the entire North Eastern Region aware of the symptoms, causes and available treatment to avoid amputation, the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS), NEIGRIHMS is organizing the National Vascular Day Run on the 3rd August, 2024.
There will also be cash prizes to the winners. The run will be conducted in Open Category for both Male and Female
Route for 5K Run: – (Starting Point) M.F.A Parking Lot, J.N Stadium Main Gate, Polo, Shillong – S.R.G.T Main Gate – Golf Club – Mawroh – F.C.I – MeECL – Shillong Secondary School – C.R.P.F Main Gate – S.R.G.T Main Gate – (Finishing Point) M.F.A Parking Lot, J.N Stadium Main Gate, Polo Shillong.
