Singer Sharon Osbourne has donated 10,000 pounds to the family of a terminally-ill young man who has only months to live after suffering from bowel cancer.
The “X Factor” judge, who had beaten colon cancer 10 years ago, sent a supportive message to 23-year-old bowel cancer-sufferer Ryan Glenny, known by his middle name Felix.
She also urged him to continue to fight the illness and offered his family money to help support themselves, reports a website.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, her message read: “Dear Felix, from a survivor, never give up the fight and hope. God Bless you and your family. Love, Sharon Osbourne.”
Ryan’s wife Cola, also 23, has grown concerned about how the family are going to finance themselves after he passes away.
The mother-of-two recently gave up her job as a hairdresser to look after their children — two-year-old Ralph and four-month-old Pearl. (IANS)
