SHILLONG:  The 13 pro-ILP pressure groups are likely to meet next week to take a call on the State Government’s invitation for a fresh dialogue on the issue of influx scheduled for January 15.
Stating that there were yet to receive any official communiqué from Government in this regard, a KSU leader on Friday said, “We are likely to meet sometimes next week to elicit the views of all the pressure groups on the invitation.”
Earlier, the State Government had decided to invite the pressure groups for talks to deliberate on the mechanism to tackle the problem of influx and flow of illegal migrants.
Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma, while announcing this, had said that the government would  communicate to them through the relevant department in the first week of January.
