The Office of the District Medical and Health Officer, in collaboration with the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, Shillong Municipal Board, Meghalaya Veterinary Service Association and some NGOs, is organising a school rally on Monday as part of observation of the World Rabies Day 2024. According to a statement here, the rally will commence at 11 am from the school compound of Savio Juniorate, Mawlai and will culminate at the Indoor Hall, Mawlai Mawdatbaki. “The rally marks the start of activities of observing the World Rabies Week 2024 in the state,” a statement in this regard said.
