SHILLONG: Malki SC beat Halla Boll at the Shillong Cantonment School playground in the final of a cricket tournament, organised by Young Guns Sports & Cultural Club, Upper Mawprem, on Wednesday.
Malki won the match by eight wickets when Halla Boll gave them a target of just 81 runs. Malki achieved the required runs in 6.3 overs.
Manish A Sangma was named Man-of-the-Match for scoring 67 runs.
Saurav and Manish were jointly named Man-of-the-Series, with both demonstrating their talent with the ball and bat, respectively.
The winners received Rs 8,000, while the runners-up took home Rs 4,000.
