SHILLONG: TNT Sputnik, recovered from a dire position to beat Lawmalki PSC by three wickets in the Super Division Cricket League in Polo on Wednesday.
TNT Sputnik won the toss and chose to field first in Wednesday’s match.
Lawmali then rode on Shellningstar Thabah’s 44 to post 175 all out in 39.4 overs.
Anzar Ali took 3/29 in seven overs. Anzar was then called upon by his team when it came to chase Lawmali’s total.
TNT were reduced to 20/5 when Anzar and Swarajeet Das came to bat. Anzar made 88 runs with 11 fours and two sixes.
Bhuwan Thapa took 3/23 in eight overs for Lawmali.
