Govt sends invitation to pro-ILP groups

SHILLONG: The State government has sent the official invitation to the pro-ILP pressure groups for January 15 talks.
Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma on Wednesday informed that the State Government sent the official communiqué to members of the pressure groups on Tuesday.
When ask about the modalities of the proposed dialogue with the pressure groups, he said that they would be deliberating on the issue of influx and on the mechanism to tackle the problem. The government earlier ruled out implementation of ILP in the state.
