The First Referral Unit, Mawphlang Community Health Centre (CHC) will be inaugurated at 9 am. Health Minister Dr M Ampareen Lyngdoh will grace the occasion as chief guest, while Mawphlang MLA MB Kurbah will be the guest of honour and Chief Secretary DP Wahlang will serve as the special guest.
World Rabies Day 2024 will be observed at U Soso Tham Auditorium at 11 am. Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Minister AL Hek and Health Minister Dr M Ampareen Lyngdoh will be the chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
The office of the Meghalaya State Rural Livelihoods Society (MSRLS) in partnership with the Nudge Institute will organise the North-East Conclave titled “Strengthening Ecosystem for Inclusive Development of the Most Excluded” at Courtyard Marriot, Shillong, from 10 am.
