SHILLONG: The next hearing of the special court to deal with the ILP-related cases has been fixed on February 10, an official source said.
The Special Court headed by First Class Judicial Magistrate R Rymbai was constituted to recover over Rs.31 crore from 14 pressure groups for the damage caused during the ILP-related agitations in the State.
According to the source, February 10 has been fixed to hear the case due to the ongoing winter vacation of the courts.
There was only one hearing held on December 3 last, but except for the CSWO, other pressure groups did not appear before the Court.
During the last hearing, CSWO president Agnes Kharshiing and general secretary E Thabah had appeared before the court and sought more time to reply to the charges.
