Conrad Sangma pays floral tributes to Br. Eric Steve D’Souza

Shillong, Oct 16: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma paid floral tribute at the mortal remains of his teacher Br. Eric Steve D’Souza along with his batch mates of St Edmund’s School on Wednesday.

Bro D’Souza had passed away at Shanti Niwas in Goa on October 13.

The casket carrying Bro.D’Souza’s mortal remains had arrived at Guwahati Airport on Tuesday evening accompanied by Bro. Steve Fernandes and Bro. Joe Johnson.

The casket was kept in the school chapel for all students, teachers, past pupils, friends and the general public, to pay their respects.

He will be laid to rest at Laitumkhrah Catholic Cemetery after the eucharistic service on Wednesday evening.
