NIT workshop
The Electronics and Communications department of NIT, Meghalaya, will organise a three-day workshop on Schematic & Layout design flow in cadence on January 16-18 at NIT, Meghalaya, Bijni Complex.
Foundation
Health and Family Welfare Minister AL Hek will lay the foundations stone of the new PHC at Lawbah village, East Khasi Hills, on January 18 at 12 noon. He will also inaugurate the PHC at Mawsiatkhnam village on January 20 at 10 am.
Rate hiked
The Shillong Crematorium & Mortuary Society has decided to revise the rates of incineration of dead bodies from January 15. Charges will be Rs 1500 for APL family and Rs 1200 for BPL families.

The Mohammadia-Al Hussainee Mosque committee, Barapathar, will celebrate Eid Milad Un Nabi (Birthday of Prophet Mohammad) on January 14 from 4 pm to 8 pm.
