Laitumkhrah Market project 95 pc complete

SHILLONG, Oct 18: The re-development of the municipal market at Laitumkhrah is 95 per cent complete as of the end of September, 2024.
The financial progress of the project, on the other hand, has reached 87.80 per cent.
Expected to be completed by November 30, the project is being implemented by M/s Collinstar Sawkmie and M/s Shrolenson Marbaniang (JV) at a total cost of Rs 38 crore.
Once finished, the market complex, the construction of which began in August 2020, will feature 183 stalls and parking for up to 100 vehicles, according to the detailed project report.
