Traffic arrangement for Sunday, January 19, on the occasion of Silver jubilee celebration of the youth wing, Church of God, Qualapatty, Shillong at Student’s Field Jaiaw has been notified by the STP on Wednesday.
Both light and heavy vehicles coming from Jowai side and Nongthymmai, West Khasi Hills and Ri-Bhoi can use the parking lot at Iewmulong. No entry will be imposed at the junction leading to Mawkhar Presbyterian Church except for vehicles going to the church on that day.
No entry will also be imposed at the junction leading to Dinam hall. The Jaiaw-mawkhar main stretch will be declared as a no parking zone on that day, The flow of traffic will be monitored all along the stretch as vehicles will be allowed to pass the road from Motphran parking lot leading to Mawkhar and vice versa
