SHILLONG: TNT Sputnik blazed past Aurobindo CC by a massive 158 runs in their league match of the SCA Super Division Cricket League at the Cricket Ground, Polo, on Sunday.
TNT scored at almost six runs an over to post 235/8 in their 40 overs after winning the toss and choosing to bat first.
Swarajeet Das scored 75 with 10 fours, while Anzar Ali made 64 off 56 balls with seven fours and a six.
Sarthak took 3/38 in eight overs.
Aurobindo were unable to mount an effective chase and were skittled out for a mere 77 runs in 25.3 overs.
Ujjal Singh top-scored with 25 runs.
Swarajeet came back with the ball to take 2/4 in three overs.
