Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will unveil the redeveloped IGP junction at 10.30 am. The redevelopment of the junction, carried out by Urban Affairs department and the Shillong Municipal Board, is part of the Re-imagining Streets Initiative, which was launched by the chief minister in March, 2024.

A state-level programme to celebrate the 4th Jan Jatiya Gurudev Diwas will be held at 10 am at the State Convention Centre, Shillong, and will be attended by Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, as the chief guest.

The state-level launch of Jan Jatiya Divas will be at 12 pm at the Conference Room, Main Secretariat building, and will be attended by Arts and Culture Minister Paul Lyngdoh as the chief guest.

The IKP-PRIME, National Law University (NLU) Meghalaya, the Innovation-Technology Transfer Office (i-TTO) at the Foundation for Innovation & Technology Transfer (FIT), IIT Delhi, and the IPR Cell of NEHU, Shillong, will organise a symposium titled ‘Navigating Intellectual Property Rights in the Innovation Landscape’ from 10 am at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium, NLU Meghalaya.
