SHILLONG: Promising FC of Malki and Wonderers FC of Laban will play each other in the final of the Meghalaya Open Football Championship on Feburary 1 at Malki Ground.
In the semifinal matches on Thursday, Wonderers and Seng Samla Khliehshnong were locked 0-0 at full time, with the Laban team coming through on penalties 5-4.
In the second match, Gilbert E Diengdoh (15th minute) and Mc Nongbri (66th) scored in Promising’s 2-1 victory over Treilang.
Augustine Warmalai (60th) scored for the losing side. The final on Feb 1 will take place at 1:00pm.
