SHILLONG, Dec 2: The Voice of the People Party (VPP) on Monday announced the second list of the party candidates for the upcoming KHADC and JHADC election.
The candidates announced for KHADC seats include Kynjohlang Rangtong from Mawhati and Deity Majaw from Laitumkhrah-Malki.
The candidates for JHADC MDC seats include Samely Shylla from Amwi-Khliehtyrshi, Thiyo Lapasam from Saphai-Sahsniang, Soki Lapasam from Muthlong-Sohkymphor, Tyngshain Phawa from Khliehriat-Rymbai and Prince Sukhlein from Saipung-Nongkhlieh.
VPP state election committee general secretary, London Murphy Sohtun said that the party is confident that the aforementioned candidates with the support of the people will be able to effectively serve the interests of their constituencies and contribute to the broader goals of the party which is to “Revive, Restore and Transform Meghalaya”.
