Bowlers come to Young Guns’ rescue

SHILLONG: Young Guns were able to defend a small total thanks to the efforts of their bowlers, who bowled out Megha CC for 134 runs, earning them a 10-run victory in an SCA First Division Cricket League match at the Cricket Ground, Polo, on Sunday.

Megha CC put Young Guns into bat after winning the toss and knocked them over for just 144 runs in 29.3 overs.

Amit Sharma top-scored with 26 runs, with four fours, while Vikram took 3/17 in six overs.

In reply, Megha CC just fell short of the target and were all out in 32 overs.

Jaspal Singh made 31 with four fours, while Azad Quereshi took 3/30 in seven overs.

In the next match, Lumpyngngad SC will play Venom Speed at 9:00am on Monday in the First Division.
