HILLONG: The UDP, KHNAM and HSPDP on Monday announced fresh lists of candidates for the upcoming district council election.
The UDP has released the names of three candidates – Lakhon Dkhar from Samynthing, Violet Lyngdoh from Khliehriat and Pyndap Wanmi Lamare from Mookaiaw.
The KHNAM also declared the names of three more candidates in its third list including that of the party president Pyndapborthiaw Lyngdoh from Shella constituency. The other two candidates are Iengskhem Diengdoh from Lyngkyrdem-Laitkroh and Andreas Kharkongor from Laban-Mawprem.
Meanwhile, the HSPDP also announced the names of three candidates – Martle N Mukhim from Mawkynrew, Tamdorlang Risaw from Mawsynram and Batista Khongphai from Sohra to contest the District Council polls to the KHADC.
