SHILLONG, Feb 12: The Meghalaya Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan School Association (MSSASA), Central Body, led by its president, Aristotle C Rymbai, has filed an FIR with Sadar Police Station against the creation of a fraudulent Facebook account impersonating the association.
The unauthorised account, named “Aristotle C. Rymbai MSSASA,” was allegedly created by Keringbarth Marak with the intent to mislead the public.
Expressing strong disapproval, Rymbai stated that the misuse of his name and the association’s identity had caused confusion among SSA teachers and the general public. “The fake account was discovered on the night of February 11, 2025, and quickly spread across various social media platforms,” he said.
The association has condemned the act, calling it a deliberate attempt to spread misinformation. The association has urged authorities to take strict action against those responsible to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Meanwhile, the MSSASA has advised the public to rely only on official sources for accurate information regarding the association’s activities.
