Waqar confident of Pakistan’s success

Dubai, Feb 15: With the highly anticipated ICC Champions Trophy 2025 just around the corner, cricketing legend Waqar Younis has expressed confidence in Pakistan’s chances of lifting the coveted title.
The tournament, set to take place from February 19 to March 9, will be co-hosted across venues in Pakistan and Dubai, featuring some of the world’s best teams.Sharing his thoughts on Pakistan’s prospects, Waqar sounded optimistic about the team’s preparations.
“They are on the right track. I just hope everyone remains fit and injury-free,” he told Times of India. He highlighted the demanding international schedule and the growing risk of injuries, which could play a decisive role in the tournament.The former fast-bowling great is eagerly awaiting the high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan.“It is always a massive game. We all know how significant this match is,” said Waqar. (Agencies)
