Threat call

Kynsai War of Pohkseh West, Shillong lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that since last week, he had been receiving threatening calls on his cell phone. In this connection, Police arrested one Stephan Lyngdoh (40).

Closure

Body recovered

Bongsing R. Marak, Nokma of Era-Aning lodged a complaint at Nangalbibra PS that on February 13, the body of Nawat Ali (35) was recovered from a jungle at Asakbanda (SGH). Deceased was murdered by unknown miscreants with a sharp weapon. Necessary formalities were observed, cadaver sent to CH Williamnagar for PM. Investigation is in progress.

Theft

On February 13, unknown miscreants stole one laptop computer, fifteen notebooks and one charger from the house of Lalenkawali at Nongrim Hills, Shillong.
