Former IAS officer Silvester Kharlyngdoh no more

SHILLONG, March 2: Former IAS officer, Silvester Kharlyngdoh passed away on Sunday at his home village Mawranglang, South West Khasi Hills.
Kharlyngdoh, who retired on March 2020, had held the position of Joint Chief Election Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of South West Khasi Hills district.
His funeral will be held at the cemetery of Mawranglang Presbyterian Church in the district at 1 pm on Tuesday.

The campaign was organised by A’chik State People’s Front in collaboration with Garoland State Movement Committee, at Garobadha in West Garo Hills. The meeting was attended by several other organisations besides Nokmas from the area.
