SHILLONG, March 13: A wild cat was killed in an accident near Harrison Bridge on the way to Oxford Hills on Thursday evening.
According to the police, the carcass was handed over to the Forest department staff for further examination.
A commuter who witnessed the accident said he saw two wild cats running across the road when a taxi struck one of them. He said he picked up the carcass and placed it on the pavement.
