Bullfight banned in WJH

JOWAI March 17: The District Magistrate of West Jaintia Hills has issued an under banning bull and all forms of animal fight in the district under Section 163 BNSS.
The ordered followed after reports of such events are being conducted particularly during fetes and other festivals in some areas of the district.
Violators will be strictly dealt with as per legal provisions, the order stated.
