Mr. Debbarma said after the defeat of Congress-INPT in the last Assembly elections, the IPFT has raised demand separate statehood status for Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) by publishing a map refueling the secessionist movement.
Referring to the creation of TTAADC by amending the Constitution (22nd), Mr. Debbrma said this amendment has not been expended in other areas considering its adverse affect.
Noting that the unity and integrity of the country will be under threat after formation of smaller states, Debbarma pointed out poverty, illiteracy and lack of development still persist in Jharkhand ever after creation of new state curving out of Bihar.
Reiterating that division is Tripura would not be allowed, the EM said of total total 58 RD Blocks, a total of 53 RD Blocks either fully or partially part of tribal council areas.
