Arrest
lOn February 23 around 8:45 am, one Prakash Nonglyer (36) and Biresh Nonglyer (26) were caught red-handed while they were attempting to steal a car tape from a Maruti car (ML-05L-3464) near Laitumkhrah Cathedral, Shillong. Police arrested the accused persons.
lOn the night of February 21, one Andrew Momin (31) broke into the house of Lukendro Momin at Chibagok village (NGH) and stole two cell phones. Police arrested the accused person.
Theft
lDompy Khongsit lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on February 21, her son Sahil Khongsit along with his accomplices Saurav Das, Arjun Lama, Rakesh Baruah, William Das and (5) Gullu, stole gold ornaments valued around Rs. 3 lakhs from her house at Thana Road, Shillong.
lOn February 19, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-05K-5306) belonging to Robiul Hussain from Umsur village (SWKH).
