Noida firm bags ecotourism infra project worth Rs 23 cr in state

SHILLONG, April 7: A design and event management firm from Noida, Uttar Pradesh called E-Factor Experiences Ltd has secured a project worth Rs 23.60 crore for the development of ecotourism infrastructure in and around Nongkhyllem Wildlife Sanctuary, Meghalaya, under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) model.
The project includes the development of a chalet-style resort, an interpretation center, canopy-based skywalks, and a water sports zone, with a strong emphasis on local craftsmanship and sustainable materials.
In a press release, Managing Director and Whole-Time Director of E-Factor Experiences Ltd, Samit Garg, said that the opportunity highlights the company’s expertise in sustainable tourism infrastructure and reinforces its commitment to creating immersive, environmentally responsible experiences.
“By integrating local communities, preserving biodiversity, and promoting eco-friendly practices, this project will enhance Meghalaya’s tourism potential while maintaining its ecological integrity. This win further strengthens our portfolio in the sustainable tourism space and solidifies our position as a trusted partner for impactful government initiatives,” the release read.
