Music festival
North Eastern Service, All India Radio, Shillong will broadcast live “The North East Musical Festival ” to be held at U Soso Tham Auditorium, Shillong on February 28 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Performing Bands from Eight North East states include Taba Group from Aunachal Pradseh , The Titans from Tripura, James Riamei from Manipur, Voices Na Rympei from Meghalaya, Japi from Assam , Still Waters from Sikkim , Metamorphosis from Nagaland, The Breeze from Mizoram, Midnight Garden Factor from Meghalaya. The Festival is being held in collaboration with the Department of Art and Culture, Govt. of Meghalaya. DDK, Shillong will telecast it live on Satellite mode from 4:30 pm.
Tournament
The Umsning Socio Sport and Cultural Club will conduct the 2nd MS Roy Memorial Badmintion Tournament at Umsning Indoor Hall from March 10-15 and the event includes single, double and mixed doubles.
