SHILLONG: On March 2 at about 9 pm, an accident took place between one truck (ML-10-2071) driven by Holrim Dohtdong and one motorcycle (ML-05A-6156) ridden by Maiborn Sohtun (27) at 12th Mile, Upper Shillong.
In the incident, the rider and pillion rider viz., Jospina Nongsiej (22) sustained injuries. Later, the rider succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital, while the pillion rider was admitted at Woodland Hospital, Shillong. Police arrested the truck driver.
