SHILLONG, May 17: The ICAR Research Complex for the NEH Region, Umiam, will spearhead the Vikshit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan–Bharat Krishi Jagran Yatra: Anusandhan Kisan Ke Dwar as a pre-Kharif campaign from May 29 to June 12.
The initiative will be held in collaboration with the Central Agricultural University, Imphal, other ICAR research institutes across the Northeast, and departments including District Agriculture and Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, as well as ATMA, FPOs, NGOs, entrepreneurs, and progressive farmers from all Northeastern states.
To implement this large-scale outreach effectively, ICAR will involve scientists from its research institutes and Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs).
