Meeting
The 10th general body meeting of the Gorkha Secondary School (formerly Gorkha High School) Alumni Association, Upper Shillong, will be held at 10:30 am on July 6. According to a statement here, the meeting will take place at the Auditorium of Gorkha Secondary School, Upper Shillong. In this regard, all registered members of the Association have been requested to attend the meeting.

The Shillong Times first appeared as a tabloid weekly on 10th August 1945 under the editorship of Late Sudhindra Bhusan Chaudhuri. In 1958 it was converted to a Daily. Owing to financial constraints, within six months it reverted back to a weekly.
