SHILLONG, May 22: The Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) of Pynursla Civil Sub-Division on Thursday announced the regulation of vehicular traffic along the Laitlyngkot to Lyngkyrdem (Shillong-Dawki) stretch of road.
According to a public notice issued by the SDO (Civil), all vehicular movement will be periodically restricted from May 26 to 30, between 7 am to 10 am and again from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
The notice also informed that the closure is necessary to ensure the smooth and safe execution of ongoing road construction works, especially in view of hazardous conditions in certain sections that require urgent attention.
