SHILLONG: In a shocking incident, a person who eloped with a girl was allegedly forced to drink phenyl inside Pasteur police station by the police personnel recently.
The incident happened when one Sarfaraz Ali eloped with Priya Dey and they married in the court.
However, the father of the girl lodged a missing complaint with the police after which the boy was arrested and they allegedly forced him to drink phenyl.
However, the police have denied the allegation saying that the boy went to the toilet of the police station and drank phenyl. It may be mentioned that the boy was arrested last month for kidnapping a minor girl.
