SHILLONG, June 2: NEHU Controller of Examinations Prof. Sumarbin Umdor has been appointed as the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university’s main campus in Shillong. He officially assumed charge as Pro-Vice Chancellor on Monday.
According to sources, the appointment was made by the university’s Executive Council (EC) during a meeting held in Delhi on Friday.
Representatives from the Union Ministry of Education were present at the meeting convened by NEHU Vice Chancellor Prof. Prabha Shankar Shukla.
