WILLIAMNAGAR/TURA: The East Garo Hills District Congress Committee held a meeting with its members and supporters at the Congress Bhavan at Williamnagar in East Garo Hills on Saturday.
The meeting which was attended by Social Welfare Minister Deborah C Marak, Kharkutta MLA Cherak W Momin, Rongjeng MLA Sengnam M Marak, MDC LR Ch Momin and a host of other members apprised the gathering on the upcoming polls to the Lok Sabha. The meeting was also attended by first-timer Daryl William Ch Momin accompanied by MPYC general secretary Richard M Marak and Tura Lok Sabha Youth Congress president Septerwin R Sangma. The District Congress Committee also held a meeting with all its Block Congress Committee members at Tura Congress Bhawan.
