3 big U-14 quarterfinals today

SHILLONG: Three U-14 Football Tournament quarterfinal matches will be held at Polo Grounds on Monday.
Royal Wahingdoh will face Mawryngkneng at 12:30pm, while Rangdajied United and Shillong Lajong clash at 2:00pm. Mylliem will then take on Smit at 3:30pm.
The quarterfinals are being played in a league format between the top eight teams.
The first two games are Group I matches, with the later fixture in Group II.
On Saturday, Lajong had defeated Mawryngkneng 2-0, as reported in Sunday’s edition. Two other QF games were also held on that day.
In the first, Nangkiew Irat beat Mylliem 4-1, while Smit lost to Mawkhar 3-1 in the other game.
Nangkiew’s scorers were Pynshngain Lyngdoh, Samuel James Lyngdoh Kynshi, Robertstar Malngiang and Wanshanbok Kurbah. Arkynstar Kharbukhi scored for Mylliem.
Denxyl Kharshandi scored a brace, while Semion Mylliemngap provided one goal for Mawkhar. He also scored for Smit through an own goal.
