SHILLONG: BJP candidate for Shillong Lok Sabha seat Shibun Lyngdoh is likely to file his nomination papers on March 21.

Indicating this, in a statement issued here on Wednesday, Lyngdoh said that he was ready to make a difference if elected from Shillong seat.

Lyngdoh had on 1994 contested the election for JHADC as an independent candidate but lost by a margin of only 300 votes.

Critical of the development pattern of the Congress party, Lyngdoh said, “the present leaders in the State Assembly or in Parliament are more involved in developing themselves then developing the state,” he said.
