SHILLONG: Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi and Rilbong Sports and Cultural Club will organize the festival of puppets entitled ‘Putul Parampara Vikas Utsav’ on March 22-23 at 5:30pm in Rilbong Sports and Cultural Club on the occasion of World Puppet Day (March 21). Experts from Delhi, Tripura and Assam will be showcasing different types of traditional puppetry in this festival. Rajasthan’s famous ‘Kalbelia’ dance will also be performed in the occasion.
