City school releases postal cover to mark 150 years of foundation

SHILLONG, July 24: As part of the commemoration of its 150th foundation day, the Gorkha Pathshala Higher Secondary School, in collaboration with the Postal Department, released a Special Cover Envelope at a programme in the school premises on Thursday.
The envelope was released to celebrate 150 years of the school’s foundation, which will be marked on October 1, 2025.
The postal cover was released by Chief Post Master General of NE Circle, Sanjiv Ranjan, and Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor of Meghalaya, BDR Tiwari, in the presence of the president, secretary and principal of the school.
On the occasion, the school also unveiled the logo for its 150 years of foundation and felicitated its former principals, vice-principals and meritorious students.
