SHILLONG: Laban SC defeated Boys of Gorkha in a low-scoring SCA Second Division Cricket League match at the Cricket Ground, Polo, on Tuesday.

Laban won the toss and chose to bat first, but they were restricted to 100 runs in 16 overs despite only losing two wickets.

Wet conditions may have played a part in the low score.

Manish Rai finished unbeaten with an innings of 61 runs from 51 balls. Vishal took 2-13 in three overs.

In reply, Boys of Gorkha finished their 16 overs with a score of 85/8.
