Christine Zenith Mylliemngap has been awarded PhD in History from the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, for her thesis ‘Locating Contemporary Legends in the Khasi-Jaintia Hills’, which she completed under the supervision of Prof, Amrendra Kumar Thakur. She is the daughter of Gerald Roach and R Mylliemngap from Mawlai, and is a resident of Pohkseh, Shillong.
