Abduction case

Shillong: Police have arrested four persons including a woman for allegedly abducting a person. Police said that miscreants had abducted Harish Shrestha from Mawkhlot village, East Jaintia Hills on March 4 at about 2 pm. Later, the abductors demanded ten tolas of gold for his release from his relatives and also threatened them with dire consequences. The arrested persons have been identified as Romesh Rajbongshi (21), Lakshman Tamang (53), August Bareh (25) and Maya Choudhury (38).
