M’laya’s Pinky Narzary set to officiate at int’l Taekwondo event

SHILLONG, Aug 8: In a proud first for Meghalaya, Ms Pinky Narzary has become the only female international referee from the state to be recognised at the global level in Taekwondo.
A 4th Dan Black Belt and certified World Taekwondo Kyorugi and Poomsae International Referee, she has been selected to officiate at the upcoming WT President’s Cup – Oceania and Australian Open, a G3-ranking event to be held from August 14-17 at Gold Coast, Queensland.
Narzary also serves as a technical member and representative of India Taekwondo, affiliated with World Taekwondo (WT), the Asia Taekwondo Union, and the Indian Olympic Association.
