4th M’laya Open Table Tennis in Shillong in September

Shillong, Aug 10: The Laban Sports Club Table Tennis Academy is set to host the 4th Meghalaya Open Table Tennis Cash Prize Tournament 2025 on September 12 and 13 at the Laban Sports Club Indoor Hall, Shillong. The tournament will offer a total cash prize of ₹1.5 lakh.
Entries will close on September 10, 2025, at 5 PM, and interested participants can register through the official QR code provided by the organisers.
The competition will feature multiple categories, including Under-13 Boys’ and Girls’ Singles (born on or after January 1, 2013), Under-15 Boys’ and Girls’ Singles (born on or after January 1, 2011), Men’s and Women’s Singles (open to all), Men’s Doubles (open to all), Veteran Men’s Singles (50 years and above, born on or before January 1, 1975), and Veteran Men’s Doubles (50 years and above, born on or before January 1, 1975), with doubles partners in the veteran category to be decided through a lottery in front of the chief referee.
All matches will be played according to the rules of the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) in a knockout format.
