NONGPOH, Aug 11: As part of the Viksit Bharat initiative, Mera Yuva Bharat (NYK), Ri-Bhoi, in collaboration with the Pahamsyiem Sports and Cultural Club, will organise the International Youth Day Career Workshop-cum-Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Pledge on Wednesday at Pahamsyiem, Nongpoh. The programme, which will begin from 1 pm onwards, will feature a career workshop on the theme ‘How to Prepare for Competitive Examinations—UPSC, SSC, Banking, etc.’ to be conducted by highly qualified and experienced resource persons.
The workshop aims to provide guidance, motivation and practical insights to young aspirants seeking to excel in various competitive examinations and career opportunities.
The event will also include essay writing competitions and a contest on the theme ‘Ek Ped Maa ke Naam’, aimed at promoting environmental awareness and creative expression.
In this regard, all youths from the district have been encouraged to actively participate in the programme, benefit from the career workshop and join the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan pledge to work towards a drug-free society.
