BJP delegation pays homage to Capt Clifford Nongrum

SHILLONG, Aug 14: As part of the party’s War Martyr Outreach Programme, a state BJP delegation led by party president Rikman G Momin and MLA Sanbor Shullai visited the home and museum of the late Capt. Keishing Clifford Nongrum, MVC (posthumous), and paid homage to the heroic soldier.
Recalling the exemplary valour displayed by Capt. Clifford Nongrum in combat, Momin spoke of how the martyr’s immortal memory continues to inspire citizens across the country.
Shullai noted that the courage, dedication to duty, and spirit of sacrifice displayed by Capt. Nongrum stand as a lasting monument of glory—a beacon of patriotism whose light will never fade.
