Competition
Zenith Jubelieth Club, Laban, will organise its 26th Annual All Shillong Dr MM Das Memorial Debate Competition on the club premises in Laban at 2:30 pm on Saturday. Secondary schools and colleges in and around Shillong have been invited to participate in the competition. The motion of the debate is ‘Transborder Military Operation is necessary for protection of national interest’. Interested institutes can send their teams comprising two students, one speaking ‘for’ and the other ‘against’ the motion.
Prize distribution
The Sankardev Cultural Centre will host a prize distribution ceremony to mark the ‘Tithi’ of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev on Sunday at 6 pm. The event will take place at the Deva Kumar Das Memorial Hall, Lumshatsngi.
Corrigendum
